The International Workshop on Logic and Synthesis is the premier forum for research in synthesis, optimization, and verification of integrated circuits. Research on logic synthesis for emerging technologies and for novel computing platforms, such as nanoscale systems and biological systems, is also strongly encouraged. The workshop accepts complete papers as well as abstracts highlighting important new problems in the early stages of development. The emphasis is on novelty and intellectual rigor.

Program

The program consists of 28 regular talks, 2 invited talks and 18 poster presentations. (Paper submission is closed. Accepted papers are distributed only to IWLS participants.)

Invited Talks

IWLS 2009 will feature two exciting invited talks, in the areas of embedded security and carbon nanotube electronics.

Registration

Registration is through RegOnline. The cost of registration includes breakfasts, lunches, dinners and coffee break service; wireless internet.

Travel

IWLS 2009 will be held in Berkeley, CA, in the Cadence Research Laboratories (CRL) facility. We appreciate CRL's generosity in offering the use of their facility for IWLS.

The talks, poster sessions, and meals will be in the Half Dome room.

The CRL facility is located at 2150 Shattuck Avenue, 10th floor, Berkeley, CA 94704. A map showing the facility can be found here.

CRL is walking distance from the Berkeley BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station.

The closest airports to Berkeley are Oakland International Airport (OAK), San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and San Jose International Airport (SJC).

There is no official hotel for IWLS 2009. Some hotel suggestions are provided below.

The IWLS community maintains a set of benchmarks, synthesized and mapped in Verilog and OpenAccess.
